i am looking for any information on a

any information like siblings, parents or anything that match would be a great help!

Purchase marriage registration from www.gro.gov.uk for £7. This will name their fathers.

You can find his father's name very handily.

Go to http://www.freebmd.org.uk

and search for the marriage of John Walker and Violet Walton (no need for more details).

With the registration details, you order the certificate, and it should have his father's name on it.

Have you looked for him in the 1901 census, or for his birth registration?

If you search for his birth at FreeBMD also, I would guess that he was the John William H Walker registered in March quarter 1894 in Market Bosworth.

Oh well, there was me explaining how to make one's own discoveries again, lol.

Just to add -- once you have his parents' names from the birth certificate, you should be able to find him in the 1901 census and see whether he had any siblings at that point. You will also be able to find their marriage, etc.
