There is only one Joseph Cox in Lincs in 1881, a coach maker age slightly wrong. I think your friend should tackle the immigration records from the Canadian end - censuses are available up to 1911.

Hi, I'm doing some research on behalf of a friend on of mine.

My friend lives in Ontario, Canada, his Great grandfather (Joseph) emigrated there around the 1880's (we think.) He was the son of John Cox and Elizabeth Cox (nee Burton) and his siblings were; Mary Ann, David, Susan, Jonathan and Sarah Ann.

We would love to hear from any relations or anyone who can help fill in the family ree a little.
