Hi Andrew. I've been up Nant-y-Gamar Road today and then right up the lane to the top of the hill. It's a narrow lane, but there's a turn around at the top of the hill. Sadly I didn't manage to find the house. I stopped to ask a couple going into one of the older houses to ask. They didn't remember the house. But a double check would be good just in case I've somehow missed it. Some of the houses only have numbers which doesn't help. I also drove along the lane at the back of Bodafon Farm. I was wondering if the house could have been where they've built new houses. Do you think Llandudno library would have records of the older houses in the area?

Hi Linda
You could try the Gwynedd Family History Society, they have a lot of information on the Llandudno area.
Also try posting a request on Curious Fox - I managed to contact a cousin recently using this site.

I am from Liverpool, my grandad moved here in 1912, do you know what area your relatives are in as I would be pleased to help if i can. I llive in an area that was built by a welshman called Hughes and at one time it was mostly Welsh people in the area, Regards Linda

Hello Julie. I saw your message and although I can't help you with tracing your relatives, I can tell you a little about the area. You may be fairly local to North Wales. If not, Nant-y-Gamer Road stretches down from a country area to the promenade in a suburb of Llandudno, called Craig-y-Don. Conwy is a small walled town with a castle and a small harbour about five miles away. My mother was born in Conwy and I'm searching for relatives in Liverpool. If there is anything else you'd like to know about the area, please let me know and I'll try and help.
Best wishes
