Hi everyone.

I have been looking into an ancestor by the name of Clarissa Hill (born 1832).
She is on the 1841 and 51 census, butnot on the 61, so I assumed that she married beforehand and therefore the surname is different.

I have looked on FreeBMD and there is a marriage for Clarissa Hill in 1860. However, I searched the other two men from the entry, and both are married in the 1861 census. However, a man called Francis Oliver Booth is married to a woman called Mary, not on the returned earch from FreeBMD.. (i'm hoping that I am making sense).

...Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could work out who she married.
She is from Bradford and her parents are James and Sarah.

Yes I saw that on family search, but her parent's aren't called that... And it can't be the other Clarissa because of the dates....

any other suggestions?

is this the marriage index you are looking at
Francis Oliver Booth,Kester Breaks,Clarrisa Hill and Hannah Mary Peel
Kester and Hannah are together in 1861 census
wonder if this is her death index
