hi, i havent been able to find out no name for father was enterd on margarets birth cert. dont knowif mabel married the only mable joan ward i found was in sussex 1900, but as you know there may be more, sorry ive not much to go on hence why in stuck thanks |

was there a column for fathers name on the birth certificate. If there was and it was blank then Margaret was probably illegitimate. If the certificate you have is a small one with no space for fathers name then it would be worth getting the full certificate. |
