yes have full brith cert no name in father space rest of margarets bith cert was what gave us the info on mabel joan ward and unfortunatly thats all i have to go on, thanks sarah

was there a column for fathers name on the birth certificate. If there was and it was blank then Margaret was probably illegitimate. If the certificate you have is a small one with no space for fathers name then it would be worth getting the full certificate.

hi, i havent been able to find out no name for father was enterd on margarets birth cert. dont knowif mabel married the only mable joan ward i found was in sussex 1900, but as you know there may be more, sorry ive not much to go on hence why in stuck thanks

Did Mabel get married? If so, the name of the husband would be helpful.

looking for eny links- mabel joan ward c1900 was a parlour maid in 14 lanark villas paddington london 1925 lived at the home of the good shepard haslemere surry, had baby girl margaret emma ward same yr.only looking for mabel joan ward and family she may have had after 1925.
