Emma wright, b,1872 (may be Kirkstall Leeds Yorks)my Grandmother married Henry Denton 1900. I have searched for her on all the GR trees to no avail. Could some kind person help me find her parents or siblings? Lilian

their marriage cert will give you their fathers name and occupation, you can then start looking for her with parents on the census's

On earlier census there is an Emma Wright c1872 Leeds with mother Ann c1826 Clifton a widow. On even earlier census this Ann seems to be married to a Daniel c1822.

You will need the marriage cert to confirm any of this, or you would just be guessing.

vol9b page459 is the GRO reference number you need to buy the birth cert from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/
