I loooked at the marriages after you were born when your birth mother may have married. If she married as Wendy P Brown then the first I found was in 1982 in Truro after that there are quite a few on Ancestry where they are all listed with their grooms between 1984 - 2005. There are many Wendy Brown's getting married so it would be quite difficult to find out what hapened to her.
Good luck Irene

Do you know your birth name, and do you have yourself in your own tree under that name? That may seem like a dumb question, because most likely you do, it's just that it's important, in case your mother or another family member comes looking for you, so it seemed worth asking!

It looks like you may not have your birth mother in your tree here (no tree owner Anna with a Wendy Brown born 1950-1960 in Birmingham). That would certainly be a good idea too.

Use the Search located top left hand side of page beneath GR logo.......there are several Wendy Brown's (between 1950 - 1960) there you could try to make contact with.

Ive been trying to find my BM. All avenues I have been down have come to a dead end.
Social sevices has lost my adoption file no help there
Bm has very common name and not 100% of age But I do have an address for her from when I was born. If anyboday can help please get back to me.

Name Wendy P Brown brn 1955 give or take 3 years either side (birmingham West Midlands)

Living in the W6 area 1978

Have tried NORCAP who said cannot help without adoption file. So Im going round in circles.

So if you like a challenge
