Hi Tracey,

What a kind offer!

I don't know if you can help on this one though - It is fairly recent and I have very little info!

All I know is that my Uncle Arthur Massey married Lilian (the marriage would have been in Lancashire but the only possible Lilian who fits could be this one born in Aston, Warwickshire:

Births Jun 1915 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Selwood Lillian M Davies Aston 6d 1079

These MAY be her siblings but I am only guessing!

????????????
Births Mar 1900 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Selwood Alice Ethel Aston 6d 218

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Births Mar 1905 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Selwood William Arthur Aston 6d 337

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is it possible to find anything please? - I would HATE you to be 'bored'

Many thanks,

Dea x

P.S. - When she married in 1937 in Salford, her first name was spelt 'Lilyan' ??

She died as 'Lilian' and date of birth given on death details was 3rd April, 1915.

Hi Tracy, OH Boy would I, thanks so much. I'm not sure what is available at Warwick Rec Office. So have listed 3 from diferent areas just in case one is in Warwick. I hope you don't mind. The first two are the more desperate.

1869 Marriage Seq Q Aston Juxta Birmingham.
Bride Elizabeth Beddell Groom George Jackman
Surname spelling may be slightly different eg Bedall or Jakeman.
I am hoping their ages are over 50yrs.

................................................................................

1879 Marriage March Q Cannock (St Lukes)
Bride Mary Park s Groom is William H Baker (Engine fitter)
Grooms' father was William Baker (Engineer / Engine Drive)

......................................

1885 Marriage Dec Q Walsall
Bride is Amelia Baker Groom is David Evans
Her father should be a John Benjamin Baker.

Thank you once again, I really really appreciate your offer, and I'd absolutely hate you to be sitting there twiddling your thumbs.

Thanks again, Lou

Hi Tracey, thanks a lot. that info is quite usefull as I always end up at the wrong rec office and it's so annoying when you travel so far and have made a wasted journey.

Good Luck to you and I hope you managed to find what you were looking for.

Thanks again for your time,
Regards, Lou

I searched all the areas i could and didn;t find anything. Aston is not covered by Warwickshire, it's one of the weird ones that might be in either Staffordshire or Shropshire...

...however i do plan to go to Birmingham Library soon, so i can look there for you..
