I am looking for info on Thomas Martin 1843 Birmingham. He married Sarah Williams in 1867 and had a daughter Betsy Jane in 1881. Thomas has becdome a real mystery so thought l would ask for help.

On freebmd someone has added a postem to Thomas and Srahs marriage reg, it reads;
On 25/3/1867 @ St Peters Birmingham, Thomas Martin, aged 23, bachelor, Gun Barrel Filer - father Josiah Martin, Gun Barrel Filer & Sarah Williams, aged 21, spinster - father Thomas Williams, Metal Dealer.

So is the 1881 census I found on Thomas the Gun Barrel Filer correct, only confusing thing is Betsy Jane is on another census with another Sarah?????

Many thanks for the info. I do have this info and it is from 1881 that Thomas seems to have disappeared. In 1882 Sarah went onto marry the lodger Charlie Bennett. On Betsy Jane's birth certificate it states Thomas Martin as her father, but on her marriage certificate it states Charlie Bennett as her father. In 1901 Betsy Jane was in Sheffield and married there. She later married again in Birmingham and it is this certificate that states Charlie Bennett. So Thomas has become a real mystery!!
