Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out information about my late Father, William Hall, born 16th Feb 1919, I think in Jarrow.

From what I know he later moved with his parents down to Brighton, Sussex.

I know hardly anything about my Dad, and I am desperate to find out more, if anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Through research I think you might be right.

Elizabeth Ann Armstrong was the Mother, the Father was Edward Hall of Jarrow.

No, I don't know anything about him - just looked up the birth on Ancestry. This looks like his parent's marriage:-

Have managed to trace back quite far now, but am stuck on Alvina Hall (Hall is her married name after marrying William) born in Sunderland 1858-60, I can't find any trace of her birth, can anyone help?

The birth cert will give both parents names
