	i am trying to trace my wifes father thomas idwal davies b10/02/1908 in gelligaer.glamorgan i have his birth cert but it is postcard size and not much info on it.he was chairman of bedwellty council for a few years if thats any help.i have bought credits for searching but there is no trace of him on genes.can anyone help please

	the only info on the cert is full name d.o.b date of registry 10/04/1908 .registry book 69 entry no 122 district merthyr tydfil. sub district geligaer.that is all apart from the deputy registrar signature.

	I think that you have the short version of his birth certificate. You'll have to buy the full birth certificate to find out details of his parents.
