this is her in 1871 with her parents her name is spelt different, also charles is down as step son so i also pressume georgiana is a step daughter but it dose not say that on scan

Are you not working backwards? You should have the birth cert of the child in question to see what the mothers name is. What is the childs name who gave the mum as Georgiana? When and where was she born?

Have you got the marriage cert? Take it name is Georgina on there? What is dads name and occupation? Is Bermondsey Place in Yarmouth?

Im trying to find info on a Georgina Ward who married a John E or John Edward Bowles on Jan 31 1886 in Great Yarmouth, on some info on 1901 census the name given for his wife is either Georgina or Ellen, his gt grandson says his grandmother says her name was Georgina, on letter from war office in 1918 on death of their son Sidney Bowles in France, the letter says John and Ellen Bowles of Bermondsey Place, can any one help to find out if he was married twice, or if she went by 2 names, I think her father was John Ward, and John,s father was Samuel Bowles also of Bermondsey Place she may have been born in Filby in 1865
SS Thanks every one for you input, I have told my cousin to go to the Gt, Yarmouth BMD office since he now has the info on Georgina,s parents, we could never figure out how his grandmother Kathleen knew his gt grandmother as Georgina, and yet the cerificate for Sidney,s death was made out to John and Ellen of Bermondsey Place, as my cousin says his grandmother never ever mentioned a Ellen and didnt know who she was, I know my gt. uncle Sidney ( the Sidney,s were 2nd cousins) his certificate gave the right parents names on it as I have a copy of both. that is why we wondered if he was married twice, if he was it was after 1901 then, I too thought maybe Georgina and Ellen were one and the same person.
