Trying to find children of Elise/Elsie Jane Davies

I am trying to find any children of Elise/Elsie Jane Davies my aunt. I understand she buried my grandmother Louisa Richards(nee Mellish) in Australia in 1967 and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the family and if there are any relatives out there? My mother was Joan Richards born 18 feb1919.

Hi Rosalinda ,Do you have any details on the grandmother ie; yr of birth and where all these people come from Town, county,country.

Researching:
Haycock ...London and Gloucestershire , Walters... South Wales and Gloucestershire , Lewis... South Wales , French ...Nottingham and Essex.

As Susan said, lots more info needed. It's unlikely that anybody who knows the family will read your message, but somebody here might be able to help find family.

So far it isn't adding up. There is no marriage of a Louisa Mellish to a Richards in the GRO index as so far transcribed at FreeBMD.

There are two Richards-Mellish births, but they are not your mother and aunt, and they seem to belong to a Rose Mellish and Lewis Richards.

Married Frederick Richards 1898 Ballarat, Vic,Australia
Children: Leah Selina Rose Richards1900-1967 Married a Firth
Doris May Richards Born: 1903 D:1960 Married a Bottomley
Edgar Richards Born:1910??? D: 1982
Elsie Jane Richards Born: 1910 D: 1985 Married a Davies
Leslie Richards Born about 1919??? Died???
George Richards Born unknown and Died unknown.
Joan Richards Born 1919 D: 1967 Married Wesley Lees
The parents of Louisa Mellish were Edward Mellish & Selina Lee both born in Ballarat,Victoria.
I am the daughter of Joan Richards and as my mother passed away when I was only 61/2 have no knowledge of any of my aunts nor their children, hoping you can help and please let me know what else I can do.

Stick around and an appropriate Aussie should drop by. ;)

Susan and I were assuming England. It's the default setting here.

If you edit your subject line to something like

"Children of Elise/Elsie Jane Davies - Australia"

you might better catch the right eyes.
