how on earth did you find edith elizabeth thomas so much info , its such a common name

ive tried to search for an elizabeth ann thomas, in 1888-1914 in cardiff, roath, (pearl street in 1912ish,)
but i get stuck cos shes so common,

I only have part of Rachel’s birth cert.

I have been talking to my mother about Edith though.

She told me that she recalls Edith having a sister who died when my mother was a teenager and that she had an unusual name, being Myfanwy.

When I asked does the name Hitchings ring any bells she said that she s almost certain that Gwillym's middle name is Hitchings.

Surly this is more than just coincidence?

I guess I’m going to have to send off for a copy of his birth cert as this will confirm our findings either way.
