Hi I am after some more help I am trying to trace Herberts Wife the information I have is that he was born 1878 Tregoney Cornwall England his father was thomas evans born 1845 Perranarworthal Cornwall England and his wife was Emma Jane Hotton born 1845 in cornwall but I am now not sure how to trace Herbertts wife

herbet had children one who is Henry Evans and he was born
03 Jun 1903 in cornwall and he died 16 Sep 1998 in Weston Super mare Somerset does this additional info help

Are you sure of Henry juniors place of birth? I cannot find his birth reg in Cornwall.

I read it that Emma was Thomas's wife and Herbert's mother, not Henry's. The original posting is a bit unclear.

There are a couple of possible marriages for Herbert on freebmd but it would be better to get a birth cert first, to confirm the mother's maiden name.

Have you found the family on the 1911 census?

Just seen that Cornwall isn't on the 1911 yet.
