Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find the marriage details of my great aunt Dolly who was born in Hartley Mauditt, Hants in 1892. I don't know where she was married, but she did move to Crook, Co. Durham, where I visited her as a child. Unfortunately I can't remember her married name. We've come up with 2 names - Ernest Moore and Lancelot Stokoe, but I can't find any marriage at all.

There is also this marriage. Surely you must have seen these to know the names? I would think you need to buy at least one of these certificates to verify her father's name.

If she was living in Crook then I think the Durham marriage is most likely. Do you have her birth certificate with her father's name? If you do then you could use her father's name as a reference checking point if you order the marriage certificate.

Wow 18 children, I'm texting everyone to see if they remember any names. I know who her father is as I've got his birth certificate, but don't know which one of the 2 Dolly's to send for.

My sister's just told me that it was Consett and not Crook where they moved to and that's not far from Gateshead. Things just get more complicated
