Hi everyone
I got her Marriage Certificate and unfortunately it has not helped me at all as I can not find anything on her parents.
If I give you the info from the cert could some please please shed some light on her Family for me, as it would be very much appreciated.

Jean C Edwards m Jean (John) Frederick Gilbert Turner on 1 Oct 1951 at the age of 19 in Broadstairs Kent.
Her Father on the Cert says Gilbert George Edwards and his profession was Coal Deliveryman.
Witnesses were Harriet Edwards (not sure if that would of been her Mum or Sister etc.) and Frederick William Turner (which was Jean (John) Father.
But it is the Edward Side I really need help with. If I have read it right Jean C Edwards's year of Birth would of been 1931 and Mothers Maiden Name on the Birth Index says Ardern.
But again I could be wrong.
Please let me know if you know anything.

this is the birth index you have quoted, but there are six Jean C Edwards born in 1931. This one is just top of the Ancestry search list.
What makes you think that it is this one born in Shropshire (as Ellesmere is now)

Hello
Not sure if it is the one born in Ellesmere, but her Son said that his Mum was from Wales and that is the only one close enough to Wales.

Her Son really wants to find out more about her as she left him when he was 4. He really wants to find his roots. Its is really hard when you do not know much about the Person and her Parents.

It was a shame that the Wedding Certificate did'nt help.
