William b c.1863 in London. Was a seaman. Married Kate Prideaux (NZ) in Sydney 1891. They went back to England - 3 children born there. Emigrated back to NZ 1897 where 4 more children born. William laid carpets in old Parliament House in Wellington.

do you have the certificate? does it give more info about William, it would help to narrow down an area in London and hopefully at least his father's name is mentioned
