Hello

I am still trying to find out if Frederick and his wife (unknown) had any family.I believe they married in Fulwood Sheffield 1911.I have not been able to find his wifes name any help would be appreciated. Frederick was born in Retford Notts 1879-80

It's possible that he married Jane Tofield


There are these 3 births for surname Green, mmn Tofield between January 1911 and December 1935


Births Mar 1912 (>99%)

Green Nellie T Tofield Lincoln 7a 944

Green Ivy Tofield Greenwich 1d 1809

Incidentally, the place to look for bmds in England and Wales is


www.freebmd.org.uk


it is a free site that carries the bmds from the start of registration on July 1 1837 to currently about 1935.


The records are being transcribed by volunteers, but they hope to be upto 1983 before too long.


Entries after 1983 were entered onto the computer, and are available on ancestry.co.uk, as is the Complete Index to all bmds from July 1 1837 to about 2007

Fred is in Lincoln in 1911, so that fits.
