I have a Lawrence Metcalfe b1919 in my tree and his wife is Ellen Baker, lawrence i am leaving alone for a bit as I am unsure what name to use to trace (his birth is registered as both Hillary (mmn) and Metcalfe but used the name Thompson all his life). The only thing I know about Ellen is the fact that she married Lawrence and took the name Thompson and is belived to have been married before, but I am unsure whether Baker is her maiden name or her first married name, unfortunately I dont know her date or place of birth. This is my partners line (his grandparents) and his mother is curious about her family. Sorry there is not much detail but I would be grateful of any help Thank you
