Find Ancestors

Hi im trying to find info on a george scott who was father to a charlotte hodgkinson scott.he was born around the 1840s and was a baker.
sorry its not much to go on but its all i know.
any help would be great.

hi, i got the details about her father george scott of her m/c
i know who she is married to,how many children she had. i dont want any info on the gartons.i have it all cus she is my great grandma.

i want to know who her mum is? i seem to be struggling with that area, there is a possibilty of a sarah hodginkinson being her mum, cus on the 1881 census she is a boarder with a sarah hodgkinson who is 37. she would be the right age to be her mum but i can't seem to find anything else.
if anybody can help i would be so grateful

I wasn't giving you info on the Gartons i was showing you that the lady coming up with George on.......
tracing her through the census is bringing her up with a different dad..i wasn't looking to see how many children she had, if you have the 1881 details it might help for you to put them one

Sometimes to help us look for someone we find it easier to go back & forth through the census......But i will now delete what i have add

I didn't mean to be offencive or ungrateful of what you had put, It seems like a lot of people are putting info on the gartons and i have tons of it.
ive been back and forth trying to find her and she comes up with this sarah in 1881 i think she is 18 and shes just using the name hodgkinson and she is living with a sarag hodgkinson who is 37 and the relationship is boarder. which sort of makes me think that sarah is her mum and had her out of wedlock or something like that.
ive tried finding info on her dad george scott (which is listed on the m/c) but its impossible cus i dont know anything bout him apart from he is baker. i know charlotte was born in leicester and thats where she was married and had her children.
sorry if i sounded a bit ungrateful.
Ive sent of for charlottes birth certificate,so i think i will have to wait till that comes back

i found charlotte in the births,she was born 1863 in leicester and her name is hodgkinson scott.
thats intresting about george scott,i think i might have to do some diggin there. im waiting for charlottes b/c to come back so i should know her mums name by the end of the week.
i found the same charlotte on the 1851 with grandparents and i dont no what to think bout it, so at the moment its just a guessing a game.

oh right, well we know george scott is her father cus he is listed down on her m/c but we are not sure about her mum. it could be sarah or it couldnt.

ive ordered charlottes b/c, sorry my mistake ive just realised ive put the wrong year down its 1862 april,may.june quater. sorry bout that.

yeah i know what you are saying but there are know records what says she is actually sarah's daughter, apart from the birth certificate which should be hear at the weekend.

for some reason ive been thinking its 1863 but i found her in BMD records for 1862 and born in leicester.

So far i have not tried to find george scott. i have been getting a bit sidetracked by other members im looking for. im just going to wait till the b/c comes back.at the moment its a lot of guesswork.

with george scott we dont know where he is born or where is from, the only thing we do know is he is a baker.so im hoping the b/c will give more info on both the parents.

charlottes birth certificate finally came today after 3 weeks of waiting, she was born 17 may 1862 leicester, and her mum is sarah hodgkinson and the dad is not listed but charlotte has been given scott as some sort of middle name, its listed as charlotte scott and then hodgkinson as her last name.
The sarah you found on the 1861 census is not her. charlottes mum was born in shardlow derby.
