Do you have any dates to go on, Paula? Eg, your mother's birth date, parents' wedding? |

My mums mum( Kathleen) was born in 1918 in St Pancras, and she was then married in 1935 and became Luckock. On the marriage certificate it states her father as Harry Ward a builders labourer ( deceased) |

Would this be your mum's birth? |

This would be why you can't find the marriage. |

Recieved marriage cert of henry richard ward to maud edith sullivan( nee.Harvey) aug 13th 1916. Please can anyone tell me how to proceed. I am trying to go back on both sides but just keep hitting the wall. Henry Richard Wards father was a Harry Ward a builder and Maud Ediths father is Thomas a painter. My problem is that I am not sure if the forenames are changed around with both of them. What i want is to obtain birth details for Richard and Edith and dont know how to progress. |

Paula, what were their ages on the marriage cert? Have you tried to find them on the 1911 census? |

Have you purchased some credits for the 1911 census and found out where Henry Richard and Maud were born? I think you're going to have to do this |
