Hi please can you help I am trying to find the death dates of Edward Alfred Richard Cook 1877 born in shalford West Ham Union married Julia Mccarthy born1878 in 1911 at Our Lady of Grace Chiswick they had two daughters and two sons the youngest Thomas born in 1926 I know that he had died by 1946 when his son Edward got married think they stayed in the chiswick area also I am looking for the death date of his father also Edward Cook 1857 who married a Sarah Emily Courtney in Plaistow West Ham 1876 I have searched the BMD but i really don't know why but I carn't find them so would be very gratefull for any help Lesley

Have you looked through the complete death index or just FreeBMD transcribed index?

Edward Alfred Richard Cook could have lived right up to the 1970's and so you will have to check every qtr of every year on the complete index and for a name like Cook this will be a very long job.

Thank you for your reply I guess I have a long job ahead best make a cup of tea and start again they have to be out there it might help if they were not both called Edward Thanks Again Keep up the good work Kindest Regards Lesley
