Sue

I dont know if this is the person and forgive me if I've got it wrong as belive it or not I've just signed up to Genes Reunited.
I have some basic knowledge of my family tree.
My my great grandfather was Thomas Harrison who lived in Stapenhill. He married Elizabeth Swinson.

Their son Thomas married my grandmother Margaret Easterby Potts - they also lived in Stapenhill

Is this any help?

There's quite a list of Thomas Harrison births around that period.

Have you found him in 1891, 1881 and 1871 - wondering if the birth place would be different/the same on each of those.

Yes and cannot find anything. HIs wife Elizabeth is missing but the 2 sons are with their maternal grandmother. Thought I would wait until more info is available. It is his birth that is puzzling me.

Have you checked for a death between 1901 and 1911?

Could he be in one of the areas that has not yet been added to the 1911?

According to the 1901 Census Thomas Harrison was born 1870 in Kings Cross. He married Elizabeth Swinson in 1893 in Stapenhill, Burton on Trent. According to his marriage cert his fathers name was John - occuption miner. Unable to find him in the 1911 census.
Any ideas please
