Oh my goodness....that's brilliant. I know that is my grandfather's family. My grandfather isn't on the list because he wasn't born by then but that is my grandfather's siblings. Where would I need to buy credits from?? Where did you find this info???

Thanks

With such a common name and no middle initial to help, you'd be foolish to do anything, it would be purely guesswork.

In this instance a cert is most def the only way forward!!

I'm confused.......how can you have ordered his birth cert, when you don't know for sure where he was born?

Please could anybody shed some light on my great great grandfather George Turner. He was born in 1887 and married Lily May Smith in 1915 or thereabouts I think. I need to find out who his parent s were. I have plenty of information regarding Lily May's side of the family however I need to progress on George's side. I've ordered his birth cert but I have limited information to go on for now.

Can anybody help me??? He was born in either Stoke-on-Trent or Cheshire.

Thank you
