Royal Air Force Records are held at The Personnel Management Agency R A F Innsworth Gloucester. I obtained my own National Service Records in 2004 but I quote from the enclosure letter. 'Because you left the service over 50 years ago, almost all of your records have been destroyed in accordance with the MOD document retention policy. However your RAF form 543 Record of Service is still held and a copy is enclosed' |

Have a look at this site, The Veterans Agency, records can be obtained from them if you are NOK or related and have permissionetc |
