Member Since: March 2009 Posts: 7 Send Message	Can anyone help me with a search please? My Grandmother is Mildred B. Cooper, b. 18.12.1922 (registered March Quarter 1923) Hungerford. Mothers maiden name BARNES. Her father is Albert Edward Cooper, b. c. 1895. He was ?Barnes second husband. So I am not sure if my great grandmothers maiden name was Barnes, or her married name to her first husband. My grandmother was the first child of Albert, but not of ?Barnes. I cannot find a marriage for Cooper/Barnes. Is someone able to do a search for me? I'd be very grateful. Thank you

	If her maiden name was Barnes then you'll need her 1st marriage to know what her surname was to be able to find her 2nd marriage. So Miss Barnes to a Mr ? Then a Mrs ? to a Mr cooper from the B/C what was Mums 1st name

Member Since: March 2009 Posts: 7 Send Message	I don't know the full name of Barnes. I am quite new to this and just realised maybe I should order my Nanna's birth certifciate first! My uncle has her original but it's like pulling teeth trying to get it. I'll ask again now and if not I'll order it.

I know nanna Millie has a half sister Ethel, brothers called Walter and Alec and a sister Barbara (whom I remember as a child and she was fabulous!). An extra link here is that Mildred "B" is actually Mildred Bertha. Can I ask how you found this out? And is there any indication where Albert Cooper was from, or his birth? I'll happily look myself if you tell me how! Thanks again x

	Christine I got it all from this site http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl But because Cooper is such a common name he will be hard to look for I would get his and Bertha Marriage cert as that will give you a occupation & age for him, also his dads name & Occupation which will help to pick him up n the census hopefully ________________ This might be him Births Mar 1899 (>99%) Cooper Albert Edward Hungerford 2c 266
