Yeah her maiden name was Wright, so that probably is him. Thank you. I'll look into it some more.

Daniel - you are going to have to give the researchers more information to go on. Why Notts-Derbyshire area. That is two counties, and alot of mileage. Please put up anything you have, no matter how insignificant it seems to you.

Hi, after recently uncovering birth and death records, I found out my gran has/had a brother called James. His nickname was 'Sprigg'. Not a lot is known about him to be honest so I know it's a long shot.

His parents were Robert Rawson Brown and Florence Brown. My dad said he was older than my gran Iris Brown, who was born in 1928.

Also he signed his name James B. Brown.
