Hi,
I know I'm asking for a needle in a haystack, working with the name "Smith", but I'm trying to find census records for my great grandmothers family.
Her name was May Smith
I know she was born Liverpool 30/5/1904.
I know she had siblings Tommy, Dily, Cissie & Maggie, among others.
I think her fathers name was Thomas, but don't know her mothers name.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Jacqui

You have her exact birth date, so presume you have her birth certificate?

Jacqui,
I have Smith on one side and Brown on the other.
From experience can I advise that you are VERY careful with info given by othetrying to r - I got loads of info on Smith only to find that there were two William Smiths each with sons called William and Frederick they lived just a stones throw away from each other and were all similar ages - and I'm still trying to discern which is which as both families moved between census returns.
regards
Caroline
