Hi everyone!

I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to find information about Horace Arthur Hill probably born around 1870 but died before 1922. I have his sons marriage certificate Walter Hill that Married Elsie Griffin but I would really like to find out more about Horace.

If anyone can help i would be extremely grateful

Wow thanks for the information .. as to the last question, the occupation listed on Walters marriage certificate for Horace is Omnibus Conductor.

Walter and Elsie were married in Portsmouth so maybe the Portsmouth connection is a valid one.

Sorry I missed a question ... Walter is listed as age 25 in 1922 at the time of his marriage and a Private RM at HMS Centurion .. at least that is what is looks like.

I hadn't thought of getting his military service record but I will for sure now. All this information is great about Walter but its still Horace that I am trying to find out more about.
