Hi he was born in the north lived in West derby Liverpool so prob born there his fathers was born Staffordshire mother Leicestershire.

Just go to freebmd and look for a marriage between the father and mother.........put in the names you KNOW, select marriages, and click 'find' . You must have location info, although you haven't included it..........

The chances of John's birth being registered are probably only about 50/50...........registration wasn't compulsory until 1875.

mother's maiden name didn't come in until around 1915
the only way to found out is get his birth cert

Hi can anybody help me solve this one, i am looking for mothers maiden name of John Robinson born 1851, he was married to Emily Squire, his father was John Robinson born 1828 he was married to Sarah born 1826, on all the birth reg for that time they have no mothers maiden names on, is it just the sites i have looked on or are they all the same for that time.
