That is sad to find James' death!

Don't worry about the ancestor thing ... yes I realise I am incorrect to call him an ancestor. Is there a technical name like 'ancestor' for siblings of actual ancestors?

Thank you for your help! This is proving very interesting!

Your ggg gran's brother is not your ancestor. (Sorry, I'm being picky.)

Just one question. How could he be your ancestor if you didn't know he had a child?

Are there any signs of them later on?

Could someone look for my ancestor Henry Brett in the census. He was christened in 1830 in Nantwich, Cheshire and he was living in 1841 with his parents Thomas and Elizabeth in Nantwich. He married Mary in 1850, and I can't see him after this.

Any help would be much appreciated in finding him in 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901
