iF she doesn't know she's adopted, then she will be none the wiser.

That is why its best that adoptees seek out birth familys , not vice versa. That is why the system is geared the way it is.

Its very difficult, if not impossible for you to find out her adoptive name- she can, however, seek out her birth name and come look for you.

Yes Katie she was born in Scarborough, we have her original birth certificate but no adoption record.

I am trying to find my auntie she was born November 23rd 1966. Her name at birth was Rebecca Johnson. She may not even know that she is adopted, as we have been looking for some years and still have no information. Perhaps genes reunited can help as others have failed.
