My husband´s great-grandfather was John Henry Harris, born in Plymouth 4q 1855. In 1901 he was living in Pudsey, West Yorkshire, with his wife Elizabeth Ann and 7 children including John William, born 1q 1879 (also in Plymouth). I can´t for the life of me find John Henry´s marriage in the records, unless he only registered as John in 1q 1878 in Plymouth. Can´t find his parents either. Any information greatly appreciated. |

My heartfelt thanks to all who answered my post with invaluable information. My sincere apologies for not answering sooner - got caught up in another branch!! Was barking up the wrong tree, which accounts for the brick wall.... Very many thanks |
