Hi, I'm trying to find info on any siblings of eric f s cooper born 1st mar 1925 and his parents (i think his mother's maiden name was Anthony), cousins and aunts and uncles etc - I don't need any info on his death or children or marriage. I know he has a brother called Maurice who lives in Wales and is still alive. Maurice married a lady called Barbara and I have been told it is their golden wedding anniversary soon and that they had at least one child. Eric married Inez Butcher in about 1948.

I have found out that his mother was called either Gwendoline Margaret or Margaret Gwendoline and she was born c1908. Thanks.

Hi, I would like to find information on his father and mother etc as when my mum asked her uncle (Eric's brother) she said that he would not talk to her about it for some reason and she wants to find out about her grandparents.

I can't see a Cooper/Ant(h)ony marriage at the right time. Perhaps thats the reason for a reluctance to talk, his parents wern't married. If you order a copy of the birth cert, that will give parents full names.

Thanks for that Andy, I think my nan still has his birth cert we also believe that Gwendoline Anthony changed her name at some point but don't know why. My mum also thinks that when Eric was born in 1925 Gwendoline was only about 17 yrs old. Thanks.
