Hi Margaret,

If Elizabeth immirgrated about 1948 she would have been about 50 years old.
Was she already married ?
You might have to check with 'scotlandspeople' to find her marriage certificate and married name.

Have checked deaths in NSW and found the following possibilities but without a name it is all guess work ....

searched deaths for the given name elizabeth (and the mother's given name jessie and the father's given name george) in the years 1945 to 1978 (the end of searchable info).
1606/1956 .. WARE ELIZABETH JESSIE .. GEORGE HENRY .. JESSIE .. BURWOOD
35171/1970 .. TOWNSEND ELIZABETH JESSIE .. GEORGE .. JESSIE .. GOSFORD
40819/1974 .. SMITH ELIZABETH CATHERINE .. GEORGE .. JESSIE

If she married in Australia.... there were 10 marriages from 1948 to 1958 (the end of searchable info). Only 1 for just "Elizabeth".

Hi Julie, I dont think she had a middle name, and I dont have much information about her, her father was George Walker and her mother was Jessie Rennie, they came from Aberdeen, I would think they emergrated around 1948 but not sure. sorry for the confusion brain and fingers dont work to go at times, it was a cine film the older version of a camcorder.

Thank for your help

Sorry, do not understand this.....
..."they bought back a cini filf of her family..."
What is a "cini filf " ?

Do you know when she immigrated ?
Do you know which suburb of Sydney ?
Did Elizabeth have a middle name ?
Do you know her married name ?
There were 10 marriages for 'Elizabeth Walker' just from 1918 to 1928 alone. Some had middle initials.
What were her parents names ? These will help in finding the correct death.
Do you know when she died ?
