Why not look at the 1911 census?

How did you come across the photo? What's the story there? Perhaps it will help.

residential place south bank
1 result could be the area to look

Hi,I need help with this one,I Have a Photo of a Army Sergent ,on the back it says, Sgt S W Wood 57 Surrey St South Bank, wounded at Salonica. I believe the South Bank refered to is in Teesside. I have wrote to News Papers in a effort to find any links ! with no Luck, any help please. Phil
