Someone posted possible post-marriage census info.......it has now disappeared..........

Was that because it wasn't acknowledged?

In the same way that the marriage info was noted, but not acknowledged?

Thanks Ricochet! I too looked at the image, then wondered why I was doing it! Didn't check the reference. A simple tip but a good one. I looked on the Freebmd site, by the way.

I looked at the image of Rebecca's entry on Ancestry...saw that the page number had been incorrectly transcribed......567 instead of 507......

Went to freebmd, put in the qtr and year, and correct Page number, and selected Newark from the dropdown list of districts...........

Have just had another look at 1861 census and that Rebecca is noted as Scholar and is at a Boarding School.

If that is her in 1861 census and her age was incorrectly noted in 1851 then I am wondering if this could be her birth record ?:-

catherine that look like you may have found rebbeca in 1861 all I have to do now is find out which William she married

Catherine yes that is the right family it seem that Rebecca has gone missing

I am looking for a Rebecca Jackson born 1846, Newark Nottingham. Have found her on the 1851 census have not found after that, found no birth or death for her but there is a marriage for a Rebecca Jackson for 1869 in newark but there is not husband name there can anyone help please
