Looking at the phone books listed on Ancestry there was M E Swindell living at 66 Crispin Road in 1973

Glitter Baby posted a 1959 marriage (not really appropriate to post, likely living people) of a Mr. Lester-Swindell.

He was one of three children born to this couple:

One of the children had middle name Lester, one had second middle initial L.

This mirrors a family I am familiar with - a marriage in the 1790s between a Lovett and a Cameron produced a lare number of children with a huge set of descendants, some of whom are now "Lovett-Cameron", most of whom used "Lovett Cameron" as their name without distinguishing which bits of it were actually surname, with most showing as "xxx L Cameron" in records.

The problem is that there is no Eve in any of this. Could "Margaret E", the Woodford who married Thomas Lester Swendell, be your Eve?
