Unfortunately, Ruth, most people reading this will not have a clue what you're talking about -- or looking for!

Do you have a previous thread? The thing to do would be to put this post in that thread. That way, anyone who posted in it will see that there is a new reply when they click on their "My threads" link. There's no guarantee that they'll ever see this new thread.

You can do that to find the thread yourself as well.

Sorry folks for not getting back in touch quicker. I have been over in Kosovo visiting my partner. According to the fasti ecclesiae Scoticanae Richard Mackie Clark was born 15.12. 1884 son of Alexander Clark and Helen Gow. He was educated at Mackie Academy Stonehaven and then the University of Aberdeen. He was ordained in 1909 and was a chaplain during the European War. He went to Wamphrey in 1922 and it is in Dumfries. He had three children Alexander Scott Clark born 1911, Olive Clark born 1914 and Florence Clark born 1916 - someone suggested that the daughter went to New Zealand.
Thanks for all of you who answered my post and I will get looking down the directions that you have given
Ruth
