If this is the marriage you mention, then the easiest thing would be to order the marriage cert, which would hopefully give you a fathers name or occupation. There is also someone on here who can look up yorkshire records if you change your thread name to include Yorkshire: |

Trying to find the parents of Isaac Ward. He was born c1824 Pickering, Nth Yorkshire. He married Frances/Fanny Hunter 1845 in Scarborough. I think his parents were John Ward b 1789 Hawnby, Yorkshire & Hannah Gibson b1792 Kildare , Ireland but not 100% sure. Hope somebody can help me |
