National Probate Index 1858 on look up SORTED

I'd be very grateful if someone could look up the following in the National Probate Index (I believe this is available on microfiche at most records offices). Unfortunately unable to visit my local one in person due to having a baby in tow ...

If they appear in the index, please could you let me have the refs I need to be able to order a copy of their wills, plus any other info given in the index. I think I can then order the wills from the Probate Registry (at a cost).

As probate can take up to 2 years to get, I would need someone to look at the year of death and the two following years.

A big ask I know, but if someone is going to a records office anyway to look up their own info, I hope they will be able to do this for me. Happy to reciprocate with any searching that can be done from home, have access to Ancestry (UK only), freebmd, familysearch, some 19thc newspapers and Times Archive.

Otto Charles Miller, death reg Sep qu 1932, Croydon district, age approx. 84.

Maximilian Edward Miller, born 3rd November 1884, died 23rd March 1935, Penge, Kent, aged 50.

Many thanks

Helen

EDIT - have managed to look up myself but thank you for offer of help

if you are sure of the dates of death and fairly confidant they left a will, a fee of £5 for each to the York Registry (national archives has the details) includes a 4 yr search & a copy of the will or admon if found.

Ann, I know I can pay for a search, I'm just a bit strapped for cash at mo, given I am on maternity and not earning, its expensive enough with all the certs ... will try to get to records office myself if I can, just hoped that someone might be going anyway and be happy to have a look. Helen

Hi Helen

If you have not found it in the next month let me know & I will have a look. I normally go to our CRO about once a month but have just been and won't be able to get there again for the next few weeks.
