Hi, thank you so much. And I told you my history was bad!!! The little girl is the photo is wearing a full length smock over a dress which is why I thought Victorian; don't ask me why!!

Aunt Ethel was married in1906

Marriages Mar 1906
Body Ethel Emily Falmouth 5c 235

so it may fall a little later than Victorian. ;) (The old queen died in 1901.)


An Enid E Thomas was born in 1921 in Redruth, mother Dunstan.

This death would match the quarter of that birth:

There are four Darlington-Thomas births in Redruth 1945-1960, which could of course be coincidence.

In the 1911 census there are 2 Enid Thomas - one born 1907. Irene

Hi, amongst some photos my Nan gave me, there is one of 'Enid Esme Grace Thomas aged 1'. On the back of the photo, it also says 'to Aunt Ethel' which would have been my great x3 grandmother, Ethel Emily Rowe nee Body. However, I cannot find a neice or great-neice or even a cousin with the surname Thomas so am thinking this Enid may be a friend's child??

I'm terrible at dating photos but it looks kinda victorian(?!?) and the photo was taken in Redruth, Cornwall

Would anyone like to claim relation to Enid; it's a really lovely photo
