George Ebenezer Harris, born 1844 in Topsham or Edford ,Devon, had a brother Thomas William. Emigrated as a young man to Melbourne ,Aust then South Australia. Married Agnes Kate Bleechmore and had 3 children , Leslie, Elsie and Hilda. Died 1886. Trying to find his ancestors and any other info.

You could use his dads name as a ref if you have Georges marriage cert

The district S Thomas covers Topsham, so im 99% sure its the right man

I assume he married in Australia as Agnes Kate born 1855 is on the IGI

Yes, he married in Australia, probably South Australia as that is where he brought his children up (Leslie was my grandfather) and he died in SA
