His marriage cert to jane would give you his fathers name to try and find him on census.

I am trying to trace parents, siblings and ancestors of Evan who I believe had a brother John David. Evan married a Jane James in Neath in 1874 and their marriage produced at least nine children that I know of, beginning with William, David John, Thomas, Evan, Elizabeth, Elinor, Mary Jane, Margaret and Idris.

I would also be interested in any information concerning the descendants of the nine children.
