William was born in 1902 in Stenhousemuir Scotland. Married Ivy in Sydney 1934 & as known was on Toowoomba roll in 1936. His parents were Samuel Scott & Mary Jack Wright 1873 & 1876 respectively.

I have checked the 1949 QLD electoral roll and neither of them are on it.
There were several "SCOTT, William John" but no corresponding 'Ivy Elizabeth' or jusy plain 'Ivy'

You have not given any dates so I do not know if this couple could have died with-in these years or just moved interstate.

Also, their parents names would help in finding the correct death.

..the 'QLD State Library' has an 'Ask Us' librarian service - they will trace them from the 1936 elec. rolls -to present day. They have newspaper death notices too.. ......Valerie (WA)

Due to the restrictions in access to bmd records in Australia, I am at a dead end in trying to find my possibly still alive first cousins. I've got as far as the Queensland (Toowoomba) electoral roll for 1936 for William John Wright Scott & wife Ivy Elizabeth nee Macmaster.but am unable to search for any possible children as I have not got their permission! Nor do I know if there were any or their names. If you have any useful tips on how I can proceed from here I would be very grateful.It is awful to think they may be here in Austral;ia & we may never meet.
