..the 'QLD State Library' has an 'Ask Us' librarian service - they will trace them from the 1936 elec. rolls -to present day. They have newspaper death notices too.. ......Valerie (WA) |

Due to the restrictions in access to bmd records in Australia, I am at a dead end in trying to find my possibly still alive first cousins. I've got as far as the Queensland (Toowoomba) electoral roll for 1936 for William John Wright Scott & wife Ivy Elizabeth nee Macmaster.but am unable to search for any possible children as I have not got their permission! Nor do I know if there were any or their names. If you have any useful tips on how I can proceed from here I would be very grateful. It is awful to think they may be here in Austral;ia & we may never meet. |
