My great grandfather and mother both died when they were young in 1913 and 1911 respectively in Rochdale leaving at least 8 children on their own. My grandfather and his brothers went to a Dr Barnardos home. Does anyone know where to look for records of Dr Barnardos children and if they give that type of information out. |

I think the National Archives have some records for Barnardos. |
