The 1881 census is free to search on the Family Search website.

The 1911 census is free to search at

http://www.1911census.co.uk/

If you wish to view the transcript or the original pages then you will need to buy credits.

To find your previous thread - click on My Threads under Tools on the left hand side of the screen. This will bring up all threads that you have posted or contributed to.

If you wish to search census returns other than 1881 you would need to purchase a subscription to a site such as Find My Past or Ancestry. I'm sure Ancestry do a 14 day free trial which might be worth having a look at.

Don't forget that Freebmd is free to search for births, marriages and deaths. It's pretty much complete up to the mid 1930's at the moment but new entries are being added all the time.
