That's my Auntie Rose,my father's sister!

Frederick and Amy had 4 children - I have all the birth certificates
I was praying that the 1911 census would help me but it has just made it more of a mystery.

That's why I have been looking for any other clues.I found one of the witnesses at the wedding May Aldrich,a cook, living nearby but nothing significant from that.

Both parents died during WW1,children all adopted so no clues there either.

Just going to 1911 census now.

Aplogies the way I wrote that down was misleading.

Amy Parker in 1911 census is from Bristol
Aged 26 - married 3 years- 2 children
(My Amy should be 24- married 3 days- 1 child but she was pregnant!)
She and her employer appear alone on the census,no sign of husbands or children

Thank you Wendy

Dorothy Parker is a baby aged 1 living with a family at 19 Bolton Road
Aged 1 being "nursed"

Amy married Frederick Parker on 30.03.1911 a few days before the census. Her name on marriage cert :
Eliza Amelia Amy Harris aged 24 (father Thomas Harris deceased)

On 1911 census Frederick is with his brother and father at
101 Salisbury St Marylebone (same adddress as marr.cert)

I found a servant Amy Parker living nearby with her employer sayys she is married with 2 children born Bristol.Am looking for clues to prove that this is my Amy

Thank you for any help

you've not found Belsize Rd, but have you found Dorothy or Amy in 1911?

Belsize Road seems to go from 68 to 101

Dorothy Winifred Amy Harris born 7th October 1909

Mother Amy Harris domestic servant of
60 Belsize Road Hampstead
(No father shown)

Birth certificate which I have has Amy Harris as the informant living at 135 Goldhurst Terrace N.W. 16/11/09

Please can anyone help me find out if this was a home for unmarried mothers and how to search any records about their time there.

Also can't find 60 Belsize Road in 1911 census
